Food52 was founded in 2013 by former Food Editors and Writers Amanda Hesser and Merrill Stubbs. They named it Food52 because they are so passionate about food, they cook it every single week, 52 weeks a year. But not only is the focus on food all year long, it also comes from all walks of life. Based in New York, Food52 gathers recipes and ideas from like-minded food artisans to create a variety of cooking essentials.
If you follow us on Social Media you’ve probably figured out by now that here at Yroo food is kind of a big deal. And puppies. But really, food is huge! Our team is comprised of vegans, vegetarians, gluten-freebies, die-hard carnivores, cheese enthusiasts, local restaurant critics and even cupcake fairies.
