Dainty Jewelry: A Lookbook

There’s something about the versatility and subtle charm of dainty jewelry. Lightweight chains, thin ring bands, and subdued bling adds just enough sparkle and spunk to an outfit. There’s also something to be said about the ability to layer pieces without feeling too over-the-top when doing so.

Layering is half the fun of fall and winter fashion, which doesn’t just stop at what you wear. During a time of year filled with cold weather and chunky knit sweaters, make a subtle statement by layering unique, minimalistic accessories instead of only your  cold weather layers. I’ve taken to Pinterest, yet again, for inspiration and created a gallery inspired by my most-loved discovered looks.

Layered Necklaces

Achieving the look: by taking your favorite subtle necklaces, you can combine the lengths and styles to create a custom layered necklace look.

5 Golden Rings

Achieving the look: Dress your digits and stack dainty rings on different fingers, or on one finger! It’s all about mixing and matching with midi rings and contrasting metals.

Dainty Arm Candy

Achieving the look: not too long ago, stacking statement bangles and bracelets paired with a statement watch was trending big time. Change it up and throw on a subtle bracelet or two along with your statement watch.

The Back Necklace

Achieving the look: take a necklace of your choice and swing it around so that the front falls on your back. A claspless (or subtly clasped) necklace might be best suited for this look so that the clasp doesn’t end up showing at the front, but if not, just adjust the necklace to the last link so that no links are left dangling behind.

Hope these versatile looks have inspired you as much as they have me. How do you like to accessorize? And who should I be following on Pinterest for more fashion and accessories inspo?
